Member of Pierre Marcolini Belgium Management team, the Retail Manager Belgium (RMB) is in charge of leading all stores activities in the country playing a key role developing our local business.

MISSIONS
RMB’s responsibility is multifold and meant to pursue our business development. He/she manages and leads all retail team members; guarantees that image and service in our stores are in line with our standards of excellence; monitors key performance indicators and organizes performance reviews with store managers.
These missions, in close cooperation with Headquarter Management team members, include among others:

1.Retail Team management
a.Manage all stores staff and create a roadmap to maintain commercial team up to need and speed at all times
- Regular assessment of retail force and store organization
- Track individual performance of sales team
- Supervision of worked and paid hours, holiday planning
- Recruit team members when appropriate
- Define individual and collective training needs and path
- Define career path
- Responsible for evaluation process of all sales force
b.Active participation during global store manager meeting and organization of local meetings when appropriate
c.Define objectives and validate reach of targets for incentive and periodic bonus

2.Image and service
a.Visit all stores on a regular basis – Is present on the floor at least one Saturday per month – and monitors respect of hygiene, grooming, sales and service norms
b.Oversee that store look and service reflect our brand image and are in line with consumer expectations at all time
c.Monitor that marketing campaigns and tools are professionally translated and displayed in store
d.Constantly challenge how products are displayed from window to till area

3.Performance indicators and review
a.Design and monitor a by month retail plan per store
b.Monitor and analyze sales kpi and proposes proactive corrective actions
c.Organize performance reviews on a regular basis both with Store Managers and with COO and CFO
d.Overlook stock management, waste management and inventories

Further, the RMB will be expected at all time to:

- Be exemplary in (commercial) attitude
- Hire the best available individuals and make them grow
- Define standard procedures when missing
- Jump into crisis
- Represent the Maison towards all external parties
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Maintain open and transparent dialogue with Headquarters key stakeholders

POSITION WITHIN PIERRE MARCOLINI ORGANIZATION
- Reports to: COO
- Supervises: Belgium store staff
- Key internal relations:HR, Merchandising Manager, Sales administration coordinator, Marketing team, Production Director and supply chain team members, B2B Manager, Accounting Department, other countries Retail Managers

Performance will be assessed on quantitative criteria such as:
- Reach of expected turnover
- Respect of allocated budget: paid hours, local marketing, events
- …

…and on qualitative aspect such as developing effective commercial processes, taking and implementing new commercial initiatives, ensuring standards of excellence in all store aspects…

Profil recherché

Education and experience
 - Master degree or similar by experience
- Strong successful experience in luxury retail and sales team management
- Analytical background

 Desired skills
 - Fluent in French and Dutch, good command of English
- Computer litterate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Entrepreneurial/hands-on and pragmatic, energetic, highly cost conscious, open minded with a strong sense of service
- Structured, accurate with high level of attention to detail, analytical capabilities, business acumen
- Autonomous, honest and transparent
- Ability motivating others to align on Pierre Marcolini’s culture and standards of excellence
