WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You will develop and lead the program that successfully supports the EMEA event strategy and consumer experience in ELC. You're experienced across all fields of event operations for B-to-B Events and have a consistent track record in driving event innovation based on strategy.
As the point of contact for events, you're always up to date about event industry in your location keeping informed on the latest locales and hidden gems.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Build event briefings and production design based on business objectives envisioning the consumer journey
- Manage ELC and EMEA event experiences in collaboration with global- and geo teams and Nike's strategic partner(s) for execution
- Drive and manage (outsourced) resource planning within ELC
- Optimize the event infrastructure by crafting and strengthening operational, analytical, and financial processes
- Build communication plans to ensure detailed implementation of event program innovations
- Pro-active contribution crafting the future of events influencing global direction with local requirements
- Manage department's financial processes including forecasts and reporting
- Manage long-term internal- and external strategic partnerships
- Drive strategic decisions based on impact, agility and efficiency
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
Reporting to the Manager EMEA WD+C Event Operations, part of the EMEA Events team from across the geography you will implement the EMEA event strategy in the ELC supported by the EMEA Environment- and Experience teams.
You work closely with the Director WD+C ELC to bring the ELC event experience to life. You will collaborate with senior leaders and work closely with cross-functional partners to provide thought leadership, manage business relationships and complete Nike only event concepts.

Profil recherché

WHAT YOU BRING:
- BA required; Hospitality Industry or Consumer Goods workplaces preferred with a focus on large scale operations.
- Minimum of 5-year work experience in a high-profile operations role related to events
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic partners and supplier management, ideally at a Fortune 500 company
- Proven track record to operationalize business strategies
- Excellent understanding of the Event industry and its trends
- Proven expertise in project- and transition management
- Demonstrated experience in leading, mentor, driving and inspiring (extended) teams
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Ability to influence multiple business partners across all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Dutch and English
- Competence to articulate sophisticated business concepts in English
- Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize tasks of competing priorities
- Proficient in MS Office applications, familiarity with Smartsheet a plus
- A great teammate striving for shared success

- Preparedness to travel, 10-20%
