Project Manager, Inbound Logistics

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Project Manager to join our Inbound/European Origin Logistics team based in Stabio, Switzerland or Antwerp/Sint Niklaas, Belgium.

Let's Talk about the Role

In this role you will be collaborating actively with global stakeholders to deliver key logistics deliverables towards the business:

Build, manage and execute end to end data analytic tools/hub for Inbound EMEA and ESO Origin Logistics as a part of global logistics digital technology roadmap drive execution & support change management when it comes to implementation of new process, project or system related change.

Pro-actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics field and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver game-changing logistics deliverables towards the top VF brands in the EMEA region!

How You Will Make a Difference

Logistics Process Engineer

  • Take the technical lead to build up and maintain the future Tableau environment to strategically manage & deliver Core Logistics Key Performance Indicators
  • Collaborate with global logistics engineering team to initiate and coordinate new processes or projects by leveraging technical backgrounds and knowledge.
  • Act as technical expertise to support Sr Logistics Manager - Centre of Excellence in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems/ procedures that are cost effective and meet the business requirements.
  • Execute process changes by mapping out the needs, business & technical requirements, and timelines.
  • Translating business requirements into technical requirements and act as a bridge between Logistics and D&T teams
  • Create business requirement documentation covering logistics initiatives and create specifications for logistics systems.
  • Plan and execute of integration and acceptance testing.
Center of Excellence (CoE) & Projects

  • Drive Network Design Engineering projects to optimize end to end global logistics network into EMEA region & outbound from EMEA to global regions.
  • Support process improvement thinking by pro-actively identifying ideas, opportunities, and alternatives in all areas of Inbound and ESO Logistics.
  • Pro-actively review daily processes and zoom in on the improvement areas by having frequent conversations and discussions with the team.
  • Engage in the change management conversations related to projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Build or review business/technical requirement documents in new projects, supported by subject matter experts within the team.
  • Maintain the EMEA Inbound & ESO Logistics Team-site to ensure all documents are updated & knowledge is shared on a frequent basic.
  • Collaborate with other COE functions (Supply Chain, Fulfilment, Customer Service, Finance etc) during shared initiatives, projects and discussions.
Skills for Success

You should be a strong communicator who is fluent in both spoken and written English with the ability to:

  • Work independently and be self-organized as well as working in teams
  • Work under pressure and against deadlines and target
  • Apply a growth mindset
  • Apply Service and be customer oriented, with a focus on details and understanding business requirementa
  • Leverage sophisticated analytical or problem-solving techniques
The following skills / experience are also advantageous:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain or Project Management
  • Strong analytical skillset in MS Excel + proven experience in visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Exposure to Project/Program management
  • Exposure to and knowledge of in-transit visibility tools (InforNexus) and ERP systems (SAP)
  • Exposure to logistics & transportation industry
  • Experience in FMG industry
