We're looking for an outstanding Supply and Inventory Planner to join our EMEA Packs (Eastpak, Jansport and Kipling) Operations team in Antwerp, Belgium.
Let's talk about the role!
As Supply and Inventory Planner you take full responsibility of the supply planning and the inventory management for all Packs (Kipling, Eastpak, Jansport) products keeping both the short- and long-term planning in mind. You balance supply maximizing product availability while keeping inventory levels within plan.
Responsibilities:
We expect that our Supply and Inventory Planner will deliver unbeatable results whilst also fulfilling the following aspects of the role:
* Translate the seasonal demand plan into a Supply plan in close communication with demand planner
* Coordinate the cross region Buy moments and related activities to maximize efficiencies
* Enter and follow up on purchase orders
* Manage the required system settings
* Be responsible for the monthly inventory roll reporting
* Give input to the Inbound Logistics team on container priorities
* Continuously identify and execute processes improvements to gain efficiency and reduce cost
* Report and follow up Supply KPI
What you need to succeed?
To succeed as Supply and Inventory Planner you need to an eye for details and being comfortable with numbers while actively looking for solution cross teams for fast changing situations. Communication is key, as in your role you will have to work with different internal stakeholders. As we work against deadlines, planning your short- and long-term activities in the best way possible is also important. On top of this:
* Bachelor or Master's degree in economics, engineering or similar or equivalent in experience
* You like working with numbers and have an analytical mind
* You are accurate and have a sharp eye for details
* You enjoy working with others, listening to and understanding their point of view and identify solutions together
* You are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of SAP, Access and Visual Basics is an asset.
* Fluent in English, spoken as well as written.
